World’s first WRGB lighting developed
In 2015, TWINSTAR developed the world’s first WRGB LED lighting for aquariums using Red, Blue, Green, and White LEDs. This lighting replaces conventional T5 and White LED aquarium lighting, providing a spectrum with wavelengths necessary for plant growth, allowing aquatic plants to grow healthily and with a wider range of colors.
4G TWINSTAR Spectrum – Higher PPFD Values
The updated TWINSTAR 4th generation light is a new concept in aquarium lighting, featuring a spectrum designed with only Six Types of Color LEDs. Compared to traditional WRGB aquarium light, this innovative spectrum excludes white LEDs and incorporates three additional color LEDs, resulting in higher light intensity, enhanced color, and higher PPFD values.

The S and E, G+ LINE spectrum is a new concept that comprises only Six Types of Color LEDs (wavelengths) essential for aquatic plant growth. It is designed to eliminate unnecessary wavelengths, providing only the energy needed for plant growth in a planted tank. The TWINSTAR Light is a highly efficient lighting system for aquatic plants, delivering ample light energy with high brightness, ideal for planted tanks or aquascaping. Consequently, it achieves high PPFD values, allowing aquatic plants to grow stably and maintain healthy conditions.
